This game has the following Genesis/MegaDrive games (some must be unlocked): Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Knuckles in Sonic 2, Blue Spheres, Sonic Spinball, Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Sonic 3D Blast, Flicky, The Ooze, and Comix Zone.

This game has the following Game Gear games: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Drift, Sonic Labyrinth, Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and Sonic Blast.

As far as extras, there are pictures of characters; game manuals for all the games; movies for Sonic Heroes; and a re-print of Archie Comic's Sonic Firsts as well as the covers of every Archie Sonic comic (Sonic, Knuckles, specials, and mini-series) up to Sonic The Hedgehog #110.

This game was also released for the Playstation 2 and is an updated version of the one released for the Gamecube--by mainly including some of the Game Gear games that were released in the Sonic Adventure DX port.
