SONIC THE FIGHTERS

This game was released in June 1996. In this arcade game (also known as Sonic Championship), Knuckles, Espio, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Nack/Fang, Bark, and Bean fought each other in a "Street Fighter" type of tournament to decide who is the strongest and should be allowed to go into space to stop Robotnik.

This is Knuckles' profile picture. It tells you that his special move is his "Knuckle Glider."
