Sonic The Comic UpdateAs reported by
Ed on the
MB:
Seems that #223 will in fact be the final issue of the comic, containing all four parts of "The Evil Empire" presumably as a back-to-back 28-page story. STC readers may remember it as the Sonic run from issues 108-111 - a brilliant story written by Nigel Kitching, and illustrated by Richard Elson.
Knuckles doesn't feature, but a Metallix designed in the shape of Knuckles does. This is also the formal debut of the Drakon Empire, the alien creatures that discovered the Chaos Energy and long ago waged a war that led to the downfall of the Ancient Echidnas. They appear less conspicuously twice before - once, curiously enough, in the first story to be reprinted back in issue 133. Tails, Amy, the Kintobor Computer, Robotnik and Grimer all feature.

Master Emerald AwardsIt's almost time for figuring out categories & nominations for the
Master Emerald Awards for 2002. Opinions on categories to be kept, to be discarded, and to be added is encouraged and very much desired. Listing & advertising your own site is HIGHLY recommended if you want your site to be nominated for an award as well.
Miscellaneous Site News1) The form for the Archie FAQ is working now. I was wondering why I hadn't received any q's in awhile. Let me know if something isn't working around here. ^_~
2) A new staff member helping out in the SEGA area of the site will be revealed soon.
3) Juggling school & 4 websites isn't easy so updates will continue to be slow and piece-meal in all sections. Same goes for email replies at times. ^_^;;
