News from Ken's Chat
Yes, I was able to make it and except for a minute where I was booted out the room, I was there for the whole chat. Here are the highlights:

1) SONIC ISN'T BEING CANCELLED!!!
2) CHARMY RETURNS IN SONIC #92!! All Chaotix fans rejoice. :D
3) Ron Lim will most likely be Butler's replacement, but that's not official yet.
4) Whether or not Dimitri will become Enerjak again will be shown before Sonic #100
5) Kragok will return, but Ken wouldn't say when.
6) Lara-Su will be 14 when Julie-Su gets the news that she's pregnant
7) Knuckles and Julie-Su will NEVER be married and the reason given was (in quotes) "He [Knuckles] believes in commitment not ceremony."
8) Lara-Su's colors haven't been decided yet.
9) K:20YL is on hold and they are looking for an opportunity to have it published within a year so that it doesn't have to be chopped up in Sonic.
10) Archie is being used as a "bible" for Sega and other licensees.
11) The movie at this moment is very far away from being ever being done, but it will be a SatAM/Archie hybrid, not SegaSonic.
12) In Sonic #100, there might be an engagement.
13) The state of Sonic and Sally's relationship is being addressed in upcoming issues. One of them (Ken wouldn't say who) is going to lose something which will bring about a "profound" revelation.
14) Ken is thinking about giving Knux a sibling.

Get a Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure
JC Penney is all about the DC. They have been selling the console for a paltry $159.99 for some time now, but they are giving up something extra now. The retailer is offering a package consisting of the console and all the trimmings bundled with NFL2K and Sonic Adventures for the same $159.99 price tag. Check it out, but make sure you get the right product number if you want the package deal.

If you don't have a Dreamcast and Sonic Adventure yet (like me), I think this is a pretty good deal.

Chat Reminder

Attention Fan Fiction Writers
This only concerns those who send me their fan fics as Word files, all others can ignore this and I should have your fics all up later today. If you've sent me a fic as a word file, it won't go up until around Sept 4th or 5th. The computer I'm on right now does not allow me to open Word files, so I can't convert them to HTML yet.

Steven Butler's Last Knux Story

Right now, things have gone into overdrive, as Steven Butler has let it be known that the KNUCKLES story in SONIC #91 will be his last, resulting in Justin and I trying to figure out what's what. There's quite a bit of stuff going on behind the scenes and I should have some news to report later this week, most likely for the first time at my online chat this coming Wednesday.

Attention Artists
Anyone who sent me a pic or pics anytime yesterday to knuckleshaven@netscape.net may have to re-send their stuff. I didn't check the account for a couple of days and when I checked it around 11pm on Aug 27 (NY time) I found the account WAY over the limit and it wasn't accepting anymore emails.

SOK Updated
Save Our Knuckles has been fully updated, so expect a fiction and art update here within the next 2-3 days before I have to start packing for school.

Julie-Su in Sonic Games
There's a petition being run here to get Julie-Su in the Sonic games. If you are interested, go ahead and sign it. It's being sent to SEGA and it's run by DJ Fox. By the way, if the link doesn't work, just try again later. The site is hosted by XOOM, which I know from personal experience with running Save Our Knuckles, has a tendency to be down or not let you access pages at certain times.

Sonic Anime
For those who have the cable station called STARZ!, you can see the Sonic Anime on September 7th at 6:40am Eastern Time and September 23 at 6:15am Eastern Time.

I'm updating Fiction and Art one last time this week. After that I am turning my attention to Save Our Knuckles, which has been semi-neglected. I have a ton of updating and other tasks to do for SOK, which will be my main focus for the next week until I'm done.
