The basics of the first 13 stories in this universe of mine were plotted out in 1999/2000 (before the SA adaptation in Archie), though some of it was changed due to characters being introduced since that time (mainly Tikal, Chaos, Rouge, and Shadow who will all make appearances eventually). Here are the main things that knowing beforehand will make things much easier:

1) These fics are based on the Archie universe as it existed in 1999--but it won't be exact as I changed some minor details from what was established. Anything that has occurred afterwards in Archie may be incorporated at a later date, but 99% of it won't be so don't expect much of it.

2) The stories basically pick up the action as it stood after Sonic #75 for the Knothole characters and as it stood after Knuckles #28 for the Floating Island ones. However, as you'll notice, I'm including Julie-Su's solo from Super Special #11 and Espio's solo from Knuckles #30-32 (sort of--read Amazona to see what changed), but not the Hunter thing in those same issues and Knuckles #29 never happened.

3) Zonic doesn't exist and none of the Zone Wars stories occured.

4) My stories fit into three categories, which in a way mirror the once trio of comics that Archie published: Knuckles, Sonic, and Super Specials. If it's called "Floating Island," that means the story focuses on someone from the Floating Island or my fan chars from Amazona. If it's called "Knothole," the story focuses on someone from Knothole or Isis (my fan char who'll be with the Freedom Fighters for awhile). The "Crossovers" will be stories where Knuckles and Sonic's worlds collide and on average will be much longer than the others. They also won't be as frequent.
