I finally decided to do a music fic myself before New Year's Day. My selection is:

It's the year 3238 and today is Julie-Su's 18th birthday. Knuckles, the Chaotix and Julie-Su's friends* decided to throw her a small birthday party at her apartment in Echidnaopolis.

"A Walkman from Vector...why am I not surprised!" Julie-Su exclaimed as she opened her last present.
"Just helping you learn about the finer things in life," Vector responded.
Laughter filled the room after that comment. The music was turned on and the dancing and merry-making began. After about two hours, the party died down. Vector, Mighty, Espio, Ray, Charmy, Safron, Lola*, Dana*, and Jara* left Julie's apartment leaving her and Knuckles (who now wears the vest seen in Locke's dream) alone.

"I'm sorry I couldn't afford to get you a birthday present, Julie."
"That's okay," Julie-Su replied trying to hide the disappointment that she felt from Knuckles.
"I hope this can make up for it..." as Knuckles begins to sing:

(A smile appears on Julie-Su's face)

(Julie-Su's violet eyes start to glow as she looks at Knux' eyes)

Knuckles finishes singing the song.
"That was beautiful, Knuckles! That's the best present I've received all day!!"
"Well...I hope this one is a little better," Knuckles grins while Julie looks a little confused.

Knux reaches into the pocket of his vest and takes out a small box. He kneels down in front of Julie-Su and opens it revealing a diamond ring. Julie-Su is shocked.

"Julie-Su, will you marry me?" Knuckles asks.
After staring at ring, Julie-Su smiles, looks into his eyes and answers, "Yes, I will."

Knuckles slides the ring onto Julie-Su's finger. She hugs him and then they look into each other eyes. After a moment that seems like an hour, they kiss "from tonight until the end of time."


One thing to explain about this:
*Lola, Dana, and Jara are fan characters of mine that will appear in fanfics that I'm currently trying to finish and in the future will be Julie-Su's best girlfriends. That's all I'm going to say about them. :)
