The origin of Steffie by Steffie Author's Note:I don't really write stories about Steffie,but it is just to understand about her origin and besides,It is actually a break from a much longer fiction which focuses on Kragok and his wife,Doctor Lupe-An (hopefully!) Knuckles etc (c) SEGA Kragok etc (c) Archie Lupe-An and everybody else you don't know are (c) Steffie/Lupe-An(me) Enjoy ^_^ PS:It's my first time ever to write a Sonic-related story.Don't use any of my characters or story-line without MY permission,okay? ________________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1:Journey to Mobotropolis to meet the King ___________________________________________________ Floating Island:10 years ago It was a beautiful summer's morning on the Floating Island.Amanda and her husband,Robert were wide awake but still in their bed.Amanda is a Mobian Squirrel,she looks just like King Acorn or Princess Sally but, she has two tails and dark green eyes.Robert is an orange Flying squirrel with blue hair and also dark green eyes.They have two children,a ten-year old Zachary,a triple-tailed,black-haired,black eyebrowed Mobian Squirrel and a six-year old Mobian/Flying Squirrel,Stephanie. Stephanie looks like a Mobian squirrel but is pink and her tail is white underneath and the tail-tip curls inwards and her face is also white.Her nose is dark pink and has purple hair.Her eyes are dark green like her parents but,when she's angry,the pupils reflect blue light with her body glowing the same color.The couple weren't shocked when it first happend,actually,they expected it.When she was born,the doctors told them that she has extra chromosomes in her DNA and with the extra chromosomes,can form into any shape she wants with no limited energy to do it.Their doctor,Doctor Quack, told them not to abandon Stephanie,but to accept who she is and treat her like a normal child. A roar of laughter rung in the couple's ears.The children flew into the couple's room.Stephanie glided to the bed and belly-flopped on her dad.Zachary spun his tails and landed on Amanda.The youngsters laughed with the parents."Okay you two,let's go and have breakfast,then you must brush your teeth and get dressed quickly since Daddy must meet King Acorn and his Warlord,Julian Kintobor!" "But Mom,"Stephanie cried,"I promised Tatiana,Opal,Cleopatra and Annabella and Antoinette and everyone else that I'll play with them today,why must I go? This is pathetic!" Robert looked at his daughter's eyes and replied,"They can come with,first ask their parents if that's alright with them."Stephanie's eyes thanked Robert and she looked at her mom with pleading eyes."Of course they can come,most of them are royalty" Amanda finally replied. The family went downstairs to the kitchen and had their breakfast.Stephanie used her powers to stretch her mouth and gulped down the bacon and eggs.She chewed and swallowed quickly and ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth."What's the hurry?" Amanda asked her super-swift daughter who is brushing her teeth in record time.She gurgled and spat in the basin then looked at her mother who is leaning against the bathroom wall. "I am gonna go and tell mah friends to cum and join us when we go!"Stephanie replied with an eager smile.Amanda smiled at her precious and special daughter,thinking back when people say they should get rid of this "freak" and she refused to give away her daughter and even allowed them to kill her first. The little girl stared at her mom and wondered what is her mom is thinking."My little angel,go and get dressed.You don't wanna go and visit the King of Mobius in your pyjamas now,would you?" Amanda watched as her daughter bend down,lift her tail up and jumped to glide to her room.She might look like a Mobian Squirrel but she acts a Flying Squirrel,even though she doesn't have the flying membrane that's supposed to be attached to her arms like others and therefore relies on her tail and her stretched-out arms to let her glide. Amanda wondered if her children will have perfect lives,happy marriages or even children.The Sparkey(pronounced:'spar-KAY') family were known to be a normal Flying Squirrel family and Stephanie's a misfit child of the bunch.She has 'abnormal' friends so that she can relate to but,she is friends to normal children too.Princess Opal has oval eyes,pink nose,pink body,blue pupils and has a"squirrel face" and she is also fast for a weasel.Princess Annabella is an armadillo who has no armour like other armadillos and is black all over except her face,has long red hair as well and she is extremely strong since her father,King Atlas was known for his strength.Cleopatra is a crocodile who has purple hair and her yellow belly is heart-shaped at the top.Antoinette(pronounced:"Ant one-et")is quite intellegent for a meerkat and hates wearing dresses or make-up. Princess Tatiana is a green,peach-faced fox with ten tails,her hair is blue and by rotating her tails,fly at sub-sonic speed.People don't trust her because her father,King Nicolas,was a cruel king to his people and when Tatiana was four,the peasants killed him and all the male members of her family which only leaves her mom,Queen Cassandra and she gave up the throne.Princess Opal's past is totally hushed and there were rumours that she is the daughter of King Granite and Queen Ruby. "Honey,we must go and pick up Steph's friends." Robert called out to his wife,carrying two bags full of necessary items for the trip.The Sparkeys climbed into their aircraft, picked up the girls and decided to pick up some of Zachary's friends too.Eventually they all arrived to Mobotropolis.Two men waited for them,one is a mobian squirrel with a crown on his head and the other,an overweighted overlander with a ridicules moustache and his eyes and pupils and black and red.They landed the aircraft and got out.The men walked towards them. "Good afternoon,friends." The overlander slyly greeted their guests. "Thank you,sir."Robert cheerfully added and bowed down to the king.The others bowed or curtsied to the squirrel.Stephanie looked at Julian and noticed how he gave the king dirty looks and swore under his breath when he isn't looking.She also noticed something blue running at full speed.There's also a girl shouting,"Sonic,wait for me!" and boys saying the same thing. Opal decided to run too and ran towards this blue "thing".The blue thing stopped in its tracks and it happens to be a boy hedgehog.Opal blushed a little since she thinks he's cute.A chipmunk,a walrus and a coyote ran up to the hedgehog and stopped to catch their breath. "Sonic,why did you stop?" The girl asked and noticed the weasel next to her. "Hi,I'm Princess Opal.What's yours?" "Hi,I'm Princess Sally Acorn,daughter of King Maximillian Acorn,and the heiress to the throne!" "Yeah right,"Stephanie replied while walking up to the group,"You are a chipmunk.The king is a squirrel,so how can you be related?" "Easy,my mother is a chipmunk and my father is a squirrel,what are you?" "I'm a crossbreed like you,my dad's a flying squirrel and my mom is a twin-tailed squirrel." Stephanie replied proudly. "Cool dudette,my name is Sonic.They also call me'Blue Blur'.What's your other name?" "Oh,you mean my nickname?Mine is Steffie 'cause my name is Stephanie and I prefer to be called by my nickname." "You do have good vocabulry for a young girl,I'm a genius but still,yours is very good."Sally replied and look over Steffie's shoulder.Steffie looked at the direction Sally's looking and noticed Julian talking to a short overlander.The king was with the adults and talked to them,the overlanders rubbed their hands in glee and the short one replied,"Sir,it would make them our slaves." Steffie has sensetive ears and heard every word afterwards.The others didn't and Steffie knew the two would do something bad.Something bad tonight! Chapter 2:Friends with the enemy _________________________________ The king lead his guests and her daughter's friends to his humble palace.He was holding his daughter's hand.Julian was behind the group,walking with his arms folded behind his back.The short overlander,named Snively,walked next to Julian,both wore a murderous look on their ugly mugs.Steffie watches them and wondered how they will make the people their slaves.Amanda looked at her daughter and turned her head at the direction her daughter is staring and pondered whether she is staring at them because she never saw an overlander or maybe she doesn't trust them.The king asked the princesses where they live,who their parents are and if they enjoy being a princess. The group stopped at the entrance of the palace.Two guards greeted them and opened the entrance door for them.Sonic and Opal ran inside,Tatiana and Zachary spun their tails to fly in,Steffie and her father glide slowly with the group.Sally walked towards Antoinette and whispered something in her ear. Antoine,the coyote,looked nervously at the knight armour that's inside the entrance hall."Eep,zat thing ez looking at mez!" "Antoine,how can it?It isn't real."Julian replied.Antoine did see something.It happend to be a buzzbot in it.Its red eyes shone menacelly and disappears every few minutes.Julian hid it there to find out if it can'hide' from its prey and attack it at the right moment. Sally told the kids to follow her to Sir Charles' lab and see his latest invention."Of course,we want to see this invention,er...what is it?" Tatiana asked the little chipmunk."I don't know what it is.It is still a secret but he told me I can see it today." Sally replied in a lecture tone and skipped to Charles' lab,waving her arm and pointing at the direction where they should follow her.She was stopped by two guards and they told the children Sir Charles is inventing something and wouldn't want to be disturbed. Chapter 3:The overthrow ________________________ A blue hedgehog is sitting in a brown leather chair.His head hung low as he sulked."Why my brother?..Olgilvie's father?...my sister-on-law,both...the...same fate?" The hedgehog has brown eyebrows and a brown moustache,a photo in his hands.The photo had a female purple hedgehog with blonde hair,green dress and holding a blue hedgehog baby.There was a blue hedgehog too with a brown fringe in a punky hairdo.Their names are Bernadette and Jules and their son is known as Sonic the Hedgehog. Cleopatra the crocodile was looking at family portraits in the Hall of Acorns and got lost from the rest of the group in the process.She walked everywhere and heard "Tonight is right for the overthrow.Naugus is in the Void and can't get out,we can use it to throw the king in.We must also kill the princess." The voice came from a chamber somewhere.Cleopatra knows the voice:It's Julian Kintobor! King Acorn sat on his throne,looking sadly at the throne next to him."Oh Alicia,if only you and Elias were here to watch our daughter grow together." "Sire?" Julian called Max.The king looked up and saw the face of Julian but in strange clothing(the clothes he wore before were the ones in the 'Blast to the Past prt 1'and now he's wearing his offical clothes),he even had robots standing next to him too. The robots grabbed the king,"What are you doing?Julian,what's the meaning of this?I demand you to answer my question!" "Ah,I am not Julian anymore,call me 'Doctor Robotnik',the new ruler of Mobius and you are the new resident of the Void." "What do you mean?" "Ha ha ha ha,you'll see."Robotnik clicked on a button that's on the wall next to him.The wall that's behind the king disappeared and a void can be seen."Julian,why are you doing this?" Maximillian asked while gripping on his throne's leg since the void is sucking him in. The king lost his grip and yelped when he got sucked in.An insane laughter came from the void as well.Robotnik pressed the button again to close the Void,knowing that the kingdom is ripe for the taking.He walked off,acting as though nothing had happened. Time:five hours later All the Mobians in Mobotropolis were kidnapped.Steffie grabbed hold of both her parents' hands and Zachary doing the same as each Mobian are lead to a prison cell.There are those holding hands and praying in their cell,orphans crouched into a ball in the cell's corner and whimpering.Everyone learnt the robots' names are SWATbots and they're nothing compared to their fate:to be roboticized so they can serve their new ruler for ever. "Mommy,Daddy,Zac,I'm scared!"Steffie sulked as everyone's being lead to the roboticizer.Sally,Sonic,Rotor cried while Antoine wailed loudly. "Citizens of Mobotropolis...and tourists,meet the creator of this marvellous machine,Sir Charles!" The hedgehog with a moustache and eyebrows was dragged in and placed right where the roboticizer is.Robotnik touched the button without any doubt. "Uncle Chuck!" Sonic wailed.Sally hung her head in shame.Steffie was right in front and SWATbots grabbed both her arms to chuck her into the roboticizer. "Aw,an innocent girl to expirement on." Robotnik smiled and yelled to the SWATbots to throw her in.He pushed the button.Steffie's body was first grey,then blue and her eyes were the same.Robotnik saw nothing happend and increased the roboticition by five times. The girl was first full robot but then turned back to normal.Her eyes reflected blue,her body glowing blue but worse of all,sparks flew from her finger-tips."How dare you do such evil things!" Robert yelled at Robotnik,Robotnik told the SWATbots to seize him and throw him in the roboticizer. Steffie was so insane in rage that she screamed,"Don't you dare hurt anyone!" She pointed her index finger to Robotnik and a strong spark flew from the finger-tip to his arm.The arm instantly turned robotic.Everyone gasped in awe. "Who would've thought since she can morph,she can't get roboticize;That robo-spark is stuck in her body for the rest of her life." That happens to be Dr Quack,he lived in Mobotropolis.Steffie let a powerful surge pass through her fingers and hit any SWATbot nearby.Rosie yanked her arm from the SWATbot's grip,gathered all the children and led the Freedom fighters to-be to a secret passage-way while Robotnik was knocked out cold.The Floating Island Freedom Fighters to-be led Amanda and Robert to their aircraft and went back home after following Rosie. It might've been a happy morning but it is was the last happy morning before the greatest evil came to be known as Robotnik. The End of Mobius before Robotnik. To be continued...
