Chapter 1
 
 
               The crack of a whip and sounds of pain could be heard. "That'll teach you, slave! Do NOT cross my orders, or we'll kill you instead of punishment!"

                  Knuckles was walking down a path in one of his favorite parts of the Floating Isle. He had taken the day off, and was heading toward a nice little hill he saw a while back to relax. Then he heard it. Moaning. No, wait...crying. Instantly he walked in the direction of the sound, but when he got there he was full of pity for what he saw. Tied to a tree and covered in whip marks and blood was an echidna, about the same age as him. Not only that but a girl. He untied her and rushed her to a hospital.

                            The first thing she was aware of was pain, and a lot of it. Her whole body felt numb, and her vision was blurry. She could see a young Echidna. 'Oh no, she thought,' God, I hope he isn't angry. I can't take more pain!' " I think she's coming to!"He said
