Knuckles the Echidna: A serious and honorable guardian echidna of the floating island. 2 pieces of flesh protruding on each of his huge fists earned him the name "Knuckles" at birth. Is the leader of the Chaotix. Can glide with the use of his long dreadlocks as lift. Can also use his knuckles to climb walls. Now faces problem of new…um…lets call em' "room-mates". With all the evils he has put off the island, there is one thing he can't seem to get the hang of…DATING!

Julie-Su Echidna: Was first found when she ambushed Knuckles, thinking him as an enemy. Well, she was right, he was not with the dark legion, making him an enemy. Later she converted to Knuckles' side, but remained a bad girl at heart… ;) She lets her blaster do the talking for her. She cares little about what people think about her, she's sort of that rebel type. She has a thing against men. The only thing she has changed about her looks is when she needs to butter up knuckles (or make him do something), she puts her hair in a long "pony-tail" (for some reason, this makes knuckles crazy for her). Could it be love with Knux? Yea I'd say so.
(*Note: at this point Knuckles has been dating Julie-Su for about 1 month)

Sonic the hedgehog: One of the leaders of the Freedom fighters, friendly nemesis of Knuckles. He has very fast foot speed. He likes to have fun and has a huge crush on Sally. Feels that he must compete with Knuckles to get her.

Princess Sally Acorn: Princess of Mobius. When she was a child she visited the Floating island summer and gained a "Special Friendship" with Knuckles. He had a huge crush on her but his island duty had to come first and he had to leave. From there Sonic has claimed her for a soon to-be wife! She is fun loving but she is serious about her cause. She gets frustrated sometimes with Sonic's "born to party" attitude. Her portable miniature computer also known as "Nicole" is her main asset as the leader of the freedom fighters.

Bunny Rabbot: Southwestern rabbit that was captured by Robotnic and was almost roboticized! Thanks to Sonic, Bunny was only halfway roboticized (left arm and both legs which are all extremely strong). She is now dedicated to her job as the Princess's personal bodyguard and best friend.

Negena Rat: Was recently found by Knuckles and was the one responsible for crashing the island into Knothole Village. Is Knuckles' best friend. Knuckles gets sick of his lazy attitude while on assignment, but he can always be counted on in a serious situation. Many think of him as a slimy, filthy, rat (Julie-Su especially!) all who know him well enough know that he is a great asset.

Miles (A.K.A. , Tails) Prower: Prefers to be called "Tails" than Miles. His species, Kitsume, are basically foxes with 2 tails. He can spin them like a helicopter and fly for long periods of time. He is the youngest of the Freedom Fighters being only 10 years old. He looks up to both Sonic and Negena as mentors. Is loved deeply by Sally. Bunny is also very fond of him. Knuckles sees him as a child still but still respects his abilities when it is needed. Even Knuckles admits "that kid's kinda cute when he's sleeping!"

Rotor Walrus: Extremely smart with electronics and machinery. Is well liked but not smart in many other areas. Can sometimes get annoying with his talking in mechanical terms that no one understands. If worked into enough of a rage, he can become an ideal fighter as well. Not even Cel can match his knowledge of machines.

Dr. Ivo Robotnic: The scourge of Mobius. He wishes to rule the Planet. But only one thing stands in his way…THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS! Though he was recently killed in an explosion. They expect that Snively, his evil assistant, will be able to bring him back through cloning! They expect the worst as he and Robotnic and Snively have roboticized over 80,000 creatures on the planet Mobius to this date.
(*Note: when a creature is roboticized, the specimen is turned to a mind-controlled robot. If the creature is only partially roboticized, it remains free-willed but is stuck with their metallic parts for life. Unless special treatment is given.)
