The Rescue


Julie-su started to swing in the swing, waiting for Knuckles to come and pick her up like he promised. Suddenly, she saw a Dark Legion ship land. She knew it was too late to run. She stood up, preparing for what may happen. Dark Legion members came out and attacked. She started to fight her way through, but got caught and dragged on the ship. Some of the men were being thrown off to the side. She saw Knuckles and the Chaotix beating up the Dark Legion members.

“Knuckles!” She screamed.

“Julie-su!” Knuckles shouted. The remaining members got Julie-su onto the ship and flew off. In anger, Knuckles started pounding the lights out of the last member. Espio and Mighty had to drag him off the member.

“He’s out cold!” Espio shouted.

“Cool it! We’ll find her.” Mighty said. Even though Vector complained about it may be a trap that Julie-su planned, the group set out to find her. On the way, Knuckles started humming a tune to keep himself from freaking out.

Knuckles: “If you’re tumbling down and your spirits fall
Helps on the way, we hear your call!
On a mission we’re united as one!
Friends forever yeah…”

All: “Here we come!”

Espio: “In time we’ll be at your side! We’re a team on a roller coaster ride!”

Mighty: “Each one of us knows just what to do. We’re never gonna stop, gonna stop…

All: “Searchin for you!”

Knux: “Oh you! Baby, listen to me,”

All: “Searching for you, “

Knux: “Oh for you. “

All: “We’re gonna set cha free!”

Vector: “Coming to the rescue, get there in a hurry!”

All: “ Rescue!”

Knux: “Baby, don’t cha worry!”

All: “Rescue!”

Espio: “This adventure’s heating up!”

Knux: “I’ll rescue you and if I do you gotta rescue me!”

Mighty: “So if your lost one thing is true never gonna stop look’n for you!”

Vector: “You’re not alone so have not doubt, we’ll put our heads together, gonna figure it out!”

Knux: “Oh! Baby! Listen to me, we’re gonna, gonna set cha free!”

Vector: “Coming to the rescue, get there in a hurry!”

All: “ Rescue!”

Knux: “Baby, don’t cha worry!”

All: “Rescue!”

Espio: “This adventure’s heating up!”

Knux: “I’ll rescue you and if I do you gotta rescue me!”

Suddenly, Knuckles opened his eyes and sat up. He was in his bed and it was almost noon. He jumped out of bed; he promised he’d go pick up Julie-su from the park at noon! He started to hum the song from his dream once he got to the park.

“That sounds like a nice song. Get it in a dream?” She asked. He nodded.

“And a weird one at that!” He said.
