The 8th Emerald: part #1

        One day while Knuckles is just hangin out on the floating Island a
small explosion makes a distant noise that Knuckles ignores. From that
explosion, a small creature forms from the smoke. In an instant it's facing
Knuckles. Knuckles hardly notices it and keeps on relaxing.
 "Are you Knuckles the Enchidna?" asks the creature. It's has a small faint
voice. Knuckles pays no attention to it and tells it to get lost. In a split
second Knuckles is in the air with the creature's hands enclosing around his
neck.
 "I shall not ask again. Are you Knuckles the Enchidna?!" Knuckles fights as
hard as he can but it's no use. Knuckles  tries to slam his fist into thing
as hard as he can but it seems to have no effect.  The thing seems to be
transparent and yet it has a solid form. Knuckles has no choice but to
respond and be as cooperative as he can.
 "Yes I am....What do you want with me....?" Knuckles is getting weaker and
weaker.
 "Drake and Terra must speak with you." The creature loosens his grip but
does not release Knuckles. Knuckles gasps for air and starts coughing.
  "What are you?" He  asks as he tries to swallow as much air as possible.
 "I am a Zahn448. That is all you need to know for now. Now come. We must
hurry and get to Drake and Terra. They are waiting for us."
"Who are Drake and Terra?" Knuckles asks as Z448 lets go of him.
"The guardians of the 8th Chaos Emerald."
                                                                             
                                     
Cut to land-1 week later:
"Come on Tails. My Granny's faster than you are." Yells Sonic while he runs
as fast as he can. Meanwhile Tails follows behind flying Tornado.
"Sonic, maybe we should try and find your sister Sonia(Sonic Underground).
She could help us find out where Knuckles is."
"Fine. But can we rest for a while. You know what they say. All search and
no sleep makes Sonic annoyed,irritated, and tired." But Sonic is being
serious. Ever since they visited the island a week ago, they had found out
that Knuckles was taken was kidnapped.
"Hey Sonic! Look over there." About a mile from where they were, another
Zahn448 was standing around looking like it was waiting for something.
"What is that?!" Sonic yelled when they got close enough to see it.
 Zahn was whirring like it had been damaged. Then out of nowhere a dent was
made n Zahn's head and it exploded.
"See what happens when you mess with me!"
    Sonic jumped around to see what said that. Manic pressed a few buttons
and became visible.
"Awesome" yelled Tails."How'd you do that. That is so cool."
"Sonic. We have to leave. That thing was some kind of target practice or
something for...Who is that?"asked Manic pointing to Tails.
"zzzzzz.....Wha?..Hu? Sorry. Tails -Manic, Manic-Tails."said Sonic as he
yawned and closed his eyes again.
"I'm Sonic's partner." said Tails, a little anxious to find out how Manic
became invisible.
"I'm Sonic's brother. We used to be....huh?"
Suddenly the ground began shaking.
"The Earth's splitting up!" screamed Tails as he hovered above the ground
carrying Manic and Sonic."
"Sonic." Something had risen from the Earth. It had a pitch black body and
sounded very evil.
"Knuckles?....."
