JOURNEY TO LITTLE PLANET
Part One: Never Lake

It was one day before the annual event of the arrival of the Little Planet. Every year over Never Lake, the tiny world would appear for 12 hours before disappearing again and not returning until the next year. What was odd about LP was that time was quite wacked out and the only thing from keeping the planet from ruining its time were the 7 Time Stones. If someone could acquire them, they could have control of time itself...

And someone knew this. He had studied the Little Planet for the past 4 years and knew of what the Time Stones could do if he had them. He planned to go back into the planet's past and set up robot forces to overtake the past, therefore ruining its future. He would be able to have a giant, floating invincible fortress. The person in question... was Dr. Ivo Robotnik.

"It is almost time for the Little Planet to appear." he chuckled "Soon I will use it to ruin this wretched world and conquer it fully! And just in case Sonic decides to interfere.... I've got a surprise for him!" He looked into the corner and a set of red eyes shown brightly. The figure stepped out of the shadows... a blue, hedgehog-shaped robot.... Mecha Sonic. It smirked before flying off in the direction of the lake, Robotnik and his robots close behind.

Sonic was running along the great plains towards the lake. He had gone every year of his life. In fact, his father took him there most of the time.... until Robotnik got him into his clutches along with the rest of Sonic's family. So, in the memory of his father, he went there every scheduled time. He ran through loops and over chasms. He zipped throgh the water and the brush. He was making great progress. The Little Planet was already in its 6th hour. He was there finally, and came to a screeching halt when he saw something suspicious.

There was a giant chain hanging from the LP, mooring it to a mountainside.

"What the--?!" Sonic gasped "What's that huge chain doing attached to the Little Planet?! Something's awfully fishy around here."

Suddenly, the chain hit the side of one of the mountains, causing rocks to fall. Sonic lept from rock to rock, smashing through the larger ones to the highest peak around the planet. He ran up the spiral walkway, and ran up to the tippety top of the mountain. He then sped down the hillside, and rolled into a ball. He finally gained enough momentum and shot right off the mountain towards the chain. He grabbed onto it quickly, and then ran up the chain to the sphere's surface. He landed on a patch of grass. The place was full of odddly-shaped almost polyhonal palm trees and flora. Sonic took out his map of the LP.

"This must be the Palmtree Panic Zone." he said "Seems to be nothing going on over here...."

Suddenly, there was a buzzing sound. Sonic looked up to see a swarm of needle-nosed flying robots. They suddenly started flying straight at Sonic. He dodged and jumped the robots, getting them stuck in the ground. He kept on running as more shot at him. Suddenly, a hammer came flying through the air, smashing the robots. Then, there was a streak of pink as the owner landed right beside Sonic, the hammer coming back to her.

Sonic recognized the female hedgehog at once.
"AMY???!!!"
