I was always a Knuckles fan, ever since I played Sonic 3. I read the Fleetway comics, and loved how they portrayed Knuckles. I also loved the Sonic Underground episodes with Knuckles in. I just didn't see Sonic X or the Sonic movie.

But, why do I love the Knuckles comics so much? Why is it my favourite Knuckles universe?

It's simple. I love how Knuckles' character developed. I loved how Mr Penders answered so many unanswered questions about his people and his family. The Dark Legion and Enerjak/Dimitri are such awesome villians. They fought for what they believed in, which is way better than the "I-wanna-take-over-the-world!!!" villians. Julie-Su's the type of girl I wanted for Knuckles. I loved how Julie and Vector fought all the time, because it's fun.

I also loved the twists and turns of the stories. Who would've thought that Knuckles' ancestors were watching the Floating Island from Haven? That Knuckles happened to be a living chaos emerald? I loved this.

I also loved how all the characters interacted with one another. Like Vector and Julie-Su. How the characters developed.

But, I sure hated the fact the Knuckles comics got canned. I was worried that Knuckles won't get back in the Sonic pages, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

After the Sonic issues came month after month, I learnt that Mr Penders had to change his plot to fit the pages. Sometimes he had to get rid some pages he wanted in, or change the sequences. I became upset when I heard that. It meant that Mr Penders couldn't tell the Knuckles stories the way he originally planned it.

I became more upset when Sonic # 100 came. Kragok and Tobor got killed. I hope I'm wrong that I believe Mr Penders did it because he doesn't have enough space for them. Spectre would never meet his father in the flesh. Remington would never meet Kragok in the flesh either.

Sonic # 100 hinted that Penders would never have enough space for all the characters. Same with character developed for ones that begged for it.

I got even more peeved when I found out Archie would make a Sonic X comic series. Screw that! I wanted the Knuckles comics back. Nothing wrong with SOnic X, but they should've brought the Knuckles comics back.

I'm showing my support for the Knuckles comics by only buying issues with Knuckles or his cast in. I started doing that from Sonic # 90. When I'm able to order Archie issues on-line, I'll only order ones with Knuckles in.

I'm just a Knuckles fan scorned by Archie.
