Julie-su's missing female form
by Shigatsu

Julie-su is one of my favorite Sonic chars. ever. She is a strong personality and a good  match for Knuckles. The only thing I don;t like is that Julie-su for the most part has the same figure as Knuckles. Other female echidnas have a feminine form,  but Julie-su does not in most issues. Why?  If she wasn't pink and had eyelashes you wouldn't know she was  a girl.
The only reason I can think of her not having a female echidna figure is due to height differences between knuckles and the other female echidnas. I guess if you are drawing them together they should be the same height (relatively).
However I have noticed that some artists can draw Julie-su with a female form (Dawn Best, and the penciler of for "the best of times, the worst of times") and not have her be to much taller than knuckles. So I wonder why during most of the comic why she looks like a male echidna. Maybe it conveys the sense of her being a tomboy?
Whatever the reason for her lack of a female form, be it to show her strength or be it artistic choices. I am glad that Dawn best shows that Julie-su IS a girl.
