I NEVER PROMISED YOU A CHAO GARDEN PART TWO

After explaining the different types of loneliness, Chris, Cream, Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Cheese feel, Knuckles' form of loneliness as the last echidna and the Guardian of the Master Emerald is explored, including making sure the power of the Master Emerald is not misused. However, the quiet on Angel Island is disturbed as Tikal appears before Knuckles along with Chaos and hundreds of chao. Tikal explains that there is a fight going on that requires their presence and that Knuckles should come along & help.

In Station Square, Scarlet Garcia is reporting in the middle of the chaos within the city as Eggman's chao (which say "Choa!" instead of "Chao!") are causing havok everywhere. Sonic, Tails, and Amy start trying to help the people the chao are attacking (such as chewing through the rope holding up window washers) while Chris tries to keep his mother's Eggman chao from getting out the trash can and joining the other chao. Cream mentions that Cheese has a headache caused by some sound that no one else can hear. Chuck figures that the other chao must be hearing that sound as well, which must be what caused the chao to change and blocking it could stop them.

Eggman is watching Scarlet Garcia's broadcast from his base along with Bocoe, Decoe, and Bokkun. Eggman decides that it is time to crush the city with his Egg-Gantor robot. Decoe suggests just telling the people that he'll turn off the transmitter if they surrender, but Eggman rejects that idea because it's not "as much fun!" Meanwhile, Sonic, Amy, and Tails are being cornered by Eggman's chao. They split up just in time to avoid being run over by the chao, which go into a hardware store and take out chainsaws that they start using gleefully to terrorize even more people. Amy and Sonic manage to knock and take (respectively) away some of the chainsaws. However, as Chuck is working on finding a way to jam the radio signal (while Lindsay is trying to dry her hair), one chao is about use a chainsaw on Chris' head, but Knuckles knocks it away as he, Tikal, Chaos, and their chao army arrive to help.

Chaos tries to talk to Eggman's chao, but they ignore Chaos as Tikal realizes that Eggman's chao don't speak the same language. Tails and the chao army rescue Scarlet Garcia and her cameraman just as Eggman arrives in his huge robot. Tikal asks the chao army to give Chaos the 7 chaos emeralds, and Chaos grows "to full power" (but doesn't look like Perfect Chaos; just a much taller Chaos 0). Sonic wonders if this is a good idea, but Tikal assures Sonic that Chaos is good now. Eggman wishes things would go according to plan just once as he fights the powered up Chaos (much to Lindsay's regret as she gets her hair wet again). Knuckles and Tikal chit chat about how they eached learned to fight while taking on some of Eggman's chao, though Amy interrupts using her hammer to knock some of them away. Tails and some of the chao army save Officer Albright, while Sonic runs with a bunch of Eggman's chao trailing behind (one attempting to eat his sneaker). Chuck has finally figured out how to jam Eggman's radio waves and tests it out on the chao in the trash can. Because it works, Chuck informs Tails that Sonic needs to find all the Eggman chao and use the remote on them within close range. Tails (after flying around other battles with the Eggman chao and the Egg-Gantor/Chaos fight) finds Sonic and relays the message. Sonic quickly uses the remote to change all the Eggman chao back to "good" chao as Chaos knocks off the Egg-Gantor's head. Eggman & company retreat as Sonic thanks Chaos, who is no longer using the power of the chaos emeralds, for the help. Tikal says that she & Chaos have to return their own time and that they'll take the chao with them. Tikal offers Cheese the opportunity to come with them, but Cheese declines as he wants to stay with Cream & the others. Cream mentions that Cheese does miss playing with the other chao, so Tikal lets her know that Cheese calls for her that Cheese can come visit. As Tikal, Chaos, and the chao leave, the remaining group, including Knuckles, have a big dinner at Thorndyke mansion.
