BOISTEROUS BOT BATTLE!

Continuing from the last issue (Sonic X #3), Sonic is about to attack one of Eggman's robots that is attempting to fire missiles at him in the Station Square Space Museum. However, Sonic doesn't realize that the robot is currently being powered by Chris against his will (and 4 other robots are being powered by Sam Speed, the President, Topaz, and Mr. Stewart against their own wills). Sonic manages to divert the missiles through the roof of the museum, and the missiles end up (conveniently) nearly hitting Knuckles on Angel Island as Scarlet Garcia broadcasts as much as she possibly can from the outside of the museum.

Eggman has the Chris-robot semi-electrocute Sonic, Tails, and Amy as the other 4 robots arrive on the scene along with Rouge (who witnessed Topaz being placed into her robot & decided to follow it). Before Sonic can make good on his threat to turn the Chris-robot to "scrap metal," Rouge grabs Sonic and explains that their friends are inside these particular robots. To emphasize the point, Chris somehow manages to use his robot's lasers to write his name on the ground. In case Sonic needed anymore convincing that Rouge knew what she was talking about, Eggman starts bragging that he is using the humans that they've become friends with to power his latest robots. Sonic refuses to surrender so Eggman orders his robots to attack with full force now.

The President-robot traps Sonic in a net, the Topaz-robot grabs Rouge's leg & Tails by his tails and forces them to bump heads, and the other two robots play tag-team on Amy as they take away her hammer and use it on her. Decoe mentions how it's unusual that things are going as planned, but to change to subject Bocoe asks Eggman how he managed to get the money for the parts to build the robots. Eggman explains how he exchanged some "rotten cabbage" for the parts with a little persuasion (having another robot armed with missiles and lasers). When the Topaz-robot drops Tails & Rouge on the ground, one of the rings in Tails' bag rolls out toward Sonic, who grabs it and gets out of the net before the President-robot can stomp him and then rescues Amy.

The four of them regroup realizing that they need help as the X-Tornado, flown by Chuck with Cream & Cheese as passengers and Knuckles riding on the outside, arrive. Sonic & Rouge decide to go for the robots powered by Chris & Topaz (respectively) while Tails goes for Eggman's remote control and the others take on the remaining robots. Eggman has the President-robot grab Tails to keep Tails from taking away his remote control and as the President-robot flies away from the museum, Chuck, Cream, and Cheese follow in the X-Tornado. Meanwhile, Chris finally manages to break free of Eggman's control and won't crush Sonic as Eggman orders him to do. Rouge attempts to use the fact that Chris managed to break free to get Topaz to do the same, but it doesn't work.

In the sky, Cheese ignores Cream's protests and flies out the X-Tornado and goes into the President-robot. Cheese takes off the helmet over the President's head once inside and the President-robot let's go of Tails. In the museum, as the Topaz, Sam & Stewart-powered robots continue to attack Knuckles, Sonic, Amy, and Rouge, Chris starts using his robot to attack the Sam & Stewart-powered robots, while a freed Sonic takes out the Topaz-robot. Eggman sees that his plan is about to fail is about to "press the destruct button," but Tails grabs the remote control from Eggman and hands it to Sonic, who shuts down all the robots before smashing it. Eggman, Bocoe, & Decoe leave while Scarlet Garcia finishes her report as everyone leaves the museum.
