WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND

Aboard the Dark Legion's airship, there's a bit of confusion as there's some "unexpected turbulence." After some scanning, a legionnaire reports that it originated from the Floating Island. At first, Dimitri thinks its just something the Brotherhood must have put in place, but continuing scans enable the Dark Legion (DL) to see some of the Knuckles/Turbo Tails fight. Dimitri now knows that Knuckles had to be the source of the power and like Kommissar, is interested in how and when Knuckles got those powers of his. Dimitri has the flight course changed to find Knuckles.

Meanwhile, Knuckles is currently on the Floating Island at the the old DL base (Super Special #14). He doesn't understand why the voices he heard led him here. Suddenly, he sees Julie-Su losing her fight against some Legionnaires and then around the corner he sees himself fighting some other legionnaires. Knuckles makes the decision to go knock out the legionnaires messing with Julie-Su when he hears someone shout "NO!" Knuckles doesn't completely recognize the face, but it turns out to be Hawking. Knuckles doesn't think so because this echidna is young and Hawking is "older than dirt." Hawking is a little surprised that Knuckles doesn't realize that Knuckles can go through time. The two go to Haven when it was still intact, and finds that Hawking is physically dead. Hawking says that he's "evolving" like Knux is. Knux asks why isn't Hawking green then and Hawking says that he's not Knux that they each have their own paths just before disappearing. Knuckles realizes that he dosen't hurt anymore and wonders why.

On the DL ship, they're continuing to track Knux' energy and find that it's currently originating from Haven. Dimitri tells Kommissar, who doesn't seem to thrilled at the order, to go and get Julie-Su, who he feels might be very useful now. Suddenly, the legionnaire tracking Knux says it just disappeared. Dimitri is upset at being so close and then to lose it all. But fortunately for Dimitri, a second later Knuckles appears in the the command room of the DL ship.
