BAGGING THE BIG ONE

Safron is talking to Charmy about how many kids they should have when there's a big flash of light. Charmy recognizes the shape, but not the color, and asks "Knuckles? Is that you?" Knuckles responds saying he should be asking him since Charmy is much taller than he usually is. Charmy goes on to explain stuff that Knuckles doesn't know about (Knuckles #13-15 & #26; the size thing & Safron being his fiancee).

Unknown to the chatting trio, Nic and Nack are watching. Nic is ready to go in blasting after Knuckles, but Nack stops her saying "your weapon stands about as much chance against the echidna as I have of making an honest living." Nack has an idea as he has his binoculars set on Charmy and Safron.

Knuckles is explaining his situation (Super Special #14) to Charmy and Safron when they hear something. Nack appears and says that he's going to Downunda but his vehicle isn't working and would like some help. Knuckles tells him that they aren't mechanics, but Nack says that he only needs some "time and muscle." Knuckles basically says that he has more important things to do at the moment. Nack tells Knuckles that he isn't giving him a choice and informs Knux that he has a partner who'll shoot Charmy and Safron if he doesn't come along.

Nic is happy to see that Knuckles is going with Nack and comments on this being easy, but is surprised as someone tells her that the hard part is coming up. Meanwhile, Knuckles mentions to Nack that he could leave anytime he pleases. Nack says Knux won't because he's a Guardian and because of his friends. Before their discussion can continue the Albion Echidnas, led by Gala-Na and Yanar, make their entrance by hand-cuffing Knuckles. Yanar gives Nack his money, while Gala-Na explains that since Knuckles weilds power that he doesn't understand they have to use the Chaos Syphon to drain him.
