RETURN TO ALBION, Part 3: BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE

Gala-Na arrives at the scene of the explosion. The echidna rescue workers have found Yanar, who's in shock. The High Sheriff seems to be offline again, but Gala-Na is wondering what happend to Knuckles. She hears someone say "Over here" and looks at Knuckles and says "what happened to you?!!"

Antoine is getting angry at the slowness of the elevators that haven't reached their floor yet. Amy points out that Rob has another idea. Rob fires an arrow with a rope tied to it toward a building across the street. Amy hangs on Rob, who uses the rope to slide across with his bow and Antoine hangs on Bunnie, who uses her roboticized hand. Rob figures that they should put on the same gear as the firefighters to gain access. For awhile, they can't see anything in the smoke around the area. However as they finally reach the area Knuckles is in, Rob is just as surprised at the sight of Knuckles. Knuckles entire body, except his trademark white collar ring, his gloves, and sneakers are completely a glowing neon-green color. Gala-Na says that Knuckles looks exactly like Dimitri did after he used the chaos syphon to gain the power of 11 chaos emeralds. Knuckles says he feels like he's burning up and remarks that he isn't like Dimitri. While the group discuss that Knuckles is a living chaos emerald, the High Sheriff comes back online. Antoine tries talking to him, but gets smacked in the face. Knuckles blasts the High Sheriff with some chaos energy saying that a father shouldn't treat his son that way.

Gala-Na calls for security and tells them to have their weapons at "maximum." Antoine asks them to stop and let him try to reason with his dad, but Gala-Na says that the High Sheriff poses a threat. Knuckles says that the High Sheriff "can't do anything at the moment" and asks Antoine what does he have in mind. Antoine informs them all that on their way to Deerwood Forest that they made a stop to the Northern Tundra. They met Rotor and got an electronic neutralizer which can put a roboticized mobian into stasis so that there wouldn't be any harm done. Gala-Na rejects the idea and tells Antoine to step away and let "the security team do their job." Knuckles shouts out "NO!" and the area is covered in chaos energy for a moment. Suddenly, Rob and Amy are in the middle of Deerwood Forest and Amy is wondering where everyone else is. Elsewhere, Antoine and Bunnie are in the aircraft the they used to reach the area and have the High Sheriff, who they've placed in stasis, with them. In Albion, an officer tells Gala-Na that there isn't any sign of Knuckles or anyone. Gala-Na says that she "was afraid of this" and wonders what will happen next.
