SONIC ADVENTURE, Part 14: PERFECT CHAOS

In Mysterious Cat Country (MCC), the Cat Queen sends out her champion Razorklaw to fight Locke, who asks to talk instead of fight. The Queen says no because she doesn't trust "your kind." Locke easily KO's Razorklaw and again asks the Queen if she'd like to talk.

Meanwhile in the Hidden City, Perfect Chaos (PC) sends Super Sonic (SS) crashing into a building. SS strikes back while Knuckles and the Freedom Fighters (FFs) start moving the people back. Antoine's leg gets hit by some flying debris and Bunnie & Knuckles get him. Knuckles leaves Antoine with Bunnie and the rest of the FFs while he takes off to figure out a way to help out SS, who is fighting PC to a stalemate.

A short break to MCC where the Queen and Locke are talking with Espio, Mighty, Vector, Julie-Su, and the cats following. The Queen continues to display her distrust and she leads Locke to a clearing where he sees something which surprises him.

Knuckles glides over to the power plant which he figures should help him short circuit PC. He goes inside and finds the place flooded out and hesitates to go in the water, but he goes in anyway because he knows he has to. Meanwhile, PC and SS are both getting dazed, which SS believes that PC shouldn't be able to keep up with him. SS insults PC to get him to follow him and he sees Sally, who he tells to get out of the way, in his path. Sally has a pipe, which SS grabs, and tells him that Tails saw Knuckles go into the power plant. Tails grabs Sally out of the way while SS leads PC to the power lines of the plant. Knuckles has finally reached the power siphon that Tikal mentioned before, but the cords are disconnected. Outside, Sally warns SS that he could be hurt if the power goes online since he's around the power lines, but SS has a shield so he's not worried. Back inside, Knuckles goes back under the water and starts trying to push the siphon up into the correct position. He stuggles at first, but then gets an inner boost with chaos emeralds in his eyes and finally pushes the siphon into position. The power goes on and PC touches the lines trying to attack SS and PC gets a big shock which makes him go back to being Chaos and seven Chao appear. Knuckles swims out the plant and Sonic helps him out telling him "The good guys won!" Tikal appears one last time and takes Chaos and the Chao with her to another zone. Later, Knuckles says bye to the FFs and heads back to the Floating Island with all the chaos emerald shards they found.


SONIC ADVENTURE, Part 15: BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS

Knuckles used the Guiding Star Gem (Knuckles #12 and #17) to get to the Floating Island quickly and Sabre and Spectre get his attention. Since the Chaos Chamber was destroyed and the Brotherhood was busy creating a "replacement setting" (which looks similar to the set-up at the Mystic Ruins). They put the shards in place and the Floating Island starts to rise out of the ocean. Knuckles asks where is his dad and Thunderhawk takes Knuckles to the MCC. The two guards take Knuckles into the jungle where Vector, Mighty, Espio, and Julie-Su are staring at whatever the Queen showed Locke earlier. Julie-Su comments that it resembles something from the Dark Legion, when Knuckles basically asks what are they talking about from behind them. Julie-Su runs and gives Knuckles a hug. Espio tells Knuckles that he'll want to see what they're talking about for himself. Knuckles walks over to Locke and the Queen who are standing near a statue of Pachacamac standing on top of a cat. Locke tells the story of the Knuckles Clan and how Pachacamac led the warriors against the natives of the MCC, while the "scholars and laborers" decided against the war and left him. Locke says that he named him after the Knuckles Clan in attempt to reclaim the warrior heritage starting with Knuckles. Then the group starts to head back and Knuckles tells Locke that he got the emerald back.
