SONIC ADVENTURE, Part 13: MENACE TO SOCIETY

Knuckles is walking around the Mystic Ruins when he finds Robotnik lying on the ground unconscious. Knuckles thinks about whether he should get rid of Robotnik as a public service to the planet, but doesn't notice a "blue ooze" sneaking up behind him.

At Station Square Hotel, Sonic tells the Freedom Fighters (FFs) about how he and Knuckles took care of Robotnik and then tells Tails that he lost his plane. Nate tells them that he installed a tracer so Sonic and Tails speed off to find it. They end up in the Mystic Ruins and they see Knuckles, who's starting to wake up. As Robotnik leaves, Knuckles tells Sonic and Tails that it wasn't Robotnik, but Chaos that KO'd him and he thinks that Tails' missing plane and Chaos' return are "connected." The trio follow Nate's tracer and find Big, who finally introduces himself and Froggy to them, regaining consciousness. Tails sees that his plane is destroyed, but that thought leaves as a "water twister" attacks them and then heads for the Hidden City of the Ancients (HCA).

Meanwhile, Mayor Bullyani is giving the FFs a tour of the HCA's power plant. As he shows them the six super emeralds which power the city, water from the ceiling enters the chamber that holds the emeralds and suddenly the emeralds vanish. Moments later, water runs rampant everywhere in the HCA as "Chaos reigns supreme." The FFs start helping as many people as they can get to higher ground.

Knuckles, Tails, Sonic, Froggy, and Big finally arrive at the HCA and Sonic asks if anyone has any suggestions on how to beat Chaos. Suddenly, Robotnik breaks through the fake sky on his Eggship Destroyer but Perfect Chaos (PC) just destroys the aircraft. Sonic thinks that's cool, but Knuckles reminds him that PC still isn't on their side. Suddenly, Tikal appears and goes inside Sonic's head. She shows him a vision of how Chaos used to be peaceful and then leaves his head and appears in front of all of them. Tikal tells them that they have to defeat PC without destroying him. She says that the power siphon of the city is still connected to PC. Then she performs an ancient ritual which removes the emeralds from PC, who used the "negative power" of the emeralds. Then Sonic becomes Super Sonic (SS) with the positive power of the emeralds. SS says that he'll handle this and goes inside PC and creates a whirlpool which seemed to stop PC. However, PC appears a few seconds later and is angrier than ever.
