Snaggle is wondering why Robotnik never found Knothole and Sasha answers that they "wouldn't have a story" if he did. Rosie shouts for them to hurry to find seats as Rory says that he's going to sit up front. As the trio catch up to Rosie, the four find that Sally is sitting in the front row. Rosie asks Sally who's going to be playing her in the play if she's not in the play. Sally laughs and tells her that they'll just have to see who it is.

As the play begins, Tails and Sonic are in black suits on stage with Tails telling them how excited they are to be putting on the play and Sonic explaining that the play is about when Sally was captured and nearly roboticized. Knuckles grabs Sonic off the stage--and we see that Knuckles is playing "Sally"--and complains that if it weren't "for the kids" that he'd "clobber" him. Tails meanwhile is lamenting to himself that he doesn't even get to be himself in the play.

The play starts and Bunnie is playing "Geoffrey St. John," who is reporting to "Sally" that Robotnik is attacking the castle, while Archimedes is playing "Nicole," who "Sally" instructs to find Uncle Chuck so that he can "find that lousy..." (re: Sonic). Big is playing "Robotnik" and Tails is playing "Snively" as they enter the "castle" and tie up "Geoffrey" and "Sally." "Robotnik" decides that he will take "Sally" to be roboticized. During the next act, Uncle Chuck, who is pretending to be the roboticized version he used to be, informs "Tails" (played by Rotor) and Sonic (who is playing as himself) that "Sally" has been captured. So the duo decides to go save her and start to "fly to Robotropolis" as Rotor,who is picked up off the ground by Espio, Mighty, and Jules pulling the rope connected to Rotor's costume, picks up Sonic as they fly off. Jules wonders who decided to have Rotor play as Tails, while Mighty chimes in on complaining about the weight as Espio tells them to quiet down or the kids will hear them. Finally, in Robotropolis, "Tails" and Sonic arrive to where "Robotnik," "Snively," and a "Swatbot" (played by Vector) have "Sally." "Tails" beats up the "Swatbot" and "Snively" while Sonic beats up "Robotnik" while Amy displays sound effects. "Tails" unties "Sally," who calls Sonic "my hero." As Sonic pretends he's about to kiss "Sally," Knuckles tells Sonic that if he actually goes through with it that he will seriously hurt him. Charmy holds up a sign that says "The End."
